Life for Paige Masson was challenging from the start. She spent the first 17 years growing up in the foster care system. At the age of 9 she was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. In 2020 when her life seemed to be at a critical gateway, she got on a train, moved to the Central Coast with nothing but a duffle bag, and has learned that thriving is so much more than just living.

After finding the HumanLibrary.org, a nonprofit organization covering 6 continents and 85 countries, Paige realized that being published as a "book" allowed her to share her story with people throughout the world. Realizing she was made to participate in life's adventures with humans of all backgrounds, it became apparent that the nonprofit world was where her book was meant to be written. In 2021, Paige began working at the Independent LIving Resource Center as the Community LIving Advocate focusing on benefit services. She has recently moved into the Transition Advocate role where she will be working with individuals that are in an institutional setting and getting them back into the community of their choice.

Music Director/Founder Adam Phillips has had an extremely varied career as a vocal, instrumental, and stage performer as well as a voice teacher and music director. Adam received his undergraduate training at the State University of New York at Fredonia, earning a BFA in Musical Theatre while making the Dean's List and performing in a variety of theater and opera productions, recording several vocal albums, and receiving numerous awards and honors including a Voice Faculty Scholarship and a nomination for Best Actor in Musical Theatre in Buffalo, New York. Since moving to Santa Barbara, Adam has sung with Quire of Voyces, with Opera Santa Barbara, with the Adelfos Ensemble, and as a cantor at Old Santa Barbara Mission. He has served as a Theater Specialist with the Montessori Center School, as Assistant Drama and Music Director for Stage Left Theatre Company, Worship Leader at El Montecito Presbyterian Church's Tapestry, and as a voice teacher. He was the Music Director for the Santa Barbara Revels for three seasons.

Currently, Adam is the Director of Music and Worship at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Goleta, Founder and Director of The Folk Orchestra of Santa Barbara and teaches voice lessons at his home studio. As a multi-instrumentalist, he frequently performs with guitar, mandolin family, whistles, various other string instruments, and Scottish smallpipes (bagpipes).

Geoff Green is the Chief Executive Officer of the SBCC Foundation, where he has served since 2015 and has led the effort to establish the SBCC Promise.

A native of the San Francisco Bay area, Geoff came to Santa Barbara in 1990 where he began organizing on issues of racial equity, access to education, environmental health and LGBTQ equality. With more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Geoff also consults professionally and frequently employs his love of dialogue and debate to emcee events, serve as an auctioneer, and facilitate difficult discussions around critical community issues.

Geoff served as President of the Board of the Santa Barbara Ventura Counties Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2012, President of the Foundation Roundtable of Santa Barbara County from 2014 to 2015, and as Chair of the Board of Directors for the California Association of Nonprofits from 2016 to 2018

He currently serves on the Board of Commissioners for the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara, and on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce of the Santa Barbara Region and the Network of California Community College Foundations. He also serves on the advisory boards of KCRW Santa Barbara, the Center for Nonprofit Leadership at California Lutheran University, and PATH Santa Barbara homeless center.
